Our friend Marcellous L Jones
At our first public collection during FashionWeek in May 2010, we met a generous-hearted man.
We were honoured that he visited our stand.
He signed our Memorial Book, and wished us to be persistent in pursuing our goals.
This was a very nice experience because we are a very young organization. Those words full of warmth and trust gave us energy and strength.
We met Marcellous again on October 15, 2010 during our collection for children with cardiac diseases.
He visited our stand, greeted us warmly and signed our Memorial Book again.
He offered to help us in our next campaign.
We were surprised and happy that our activities had been noticed and had won support.
Marcellous was so friendly that we proposed him to become our Honorary Friend.
He agreed without hesitation; however, he told us that what he did is not for gaining popularity but for helping other people.
(When I do things from my heart, I ask for nothing in return except maybe the satisfaction of knowing that my gestures may help someone. If you feel that it could help the association by writing about me, then yes I will accept to allow an article to be published about me.)
His modesty won our hearts.
Marcellous promised us to do his best to help us in future. He promised to bring a few things for us to auction and gain funds for our purposes. He also has several other ideas. We are VERY happy about that.
Marcellous is a great support to us. We would like to thank him.
