We help children with heart illnesses. We support Cardiological and Cardiac Surgery Wards for Children in CZMP hospital in Lodz managed by Professor Jadwiga Moll and Professor Jacek Moll.
A charity dinner with Karol Okrasa took place on May 27, 2012 at 6.30 p.m., in the large ballroom on the roof of the andel’s Hotel Lodz. Proceeds from the dinner will support children with cardiac diseases. The dinner was the second edition of meetings called “Friends are Cooking”.
We decided to invite well-known people to prepare charity dinners. We are always guided by a charitable cause. Our Friends – in this edition it was Karol Okrasa always help us gratuitously. Karol Okrasa did not receive any payment from our Association. We would like to THANK HIM. He is our FRIEND.
The menu created by Karol Okrasa was great… We had some guests from abroad so we had translated the menu into English, Italian, and French. The invitations and the menu had been printed by our Sponsor and Friend – Media Press. Thank you very much!

May 26, 2012 (Saturday) Special Guests came to Łódź – Patrizia GUCCI from Florence and Marcellous L Jones from Paris. Nordyński Peugeot provided transport services for our Guests from the airport in Warsaw to Łódź. Hotel andel’s provided accommodation. We met Patrizia and Marcellous on Saturday evening at dinner in Irish Pub. Marcellous prepared tapanada in the Irish Pub kitchen especially for us. It was served at the beginning of our meeting…
May 27, 2012 (Sunday) From the very morning, we started a special programme of visiting the most beautiful places in Łódź with our honorary Guests – Patrizia GUCCI and Marcellous L Jones. The tour of Łódź, guided by a lover of our city, Ryszard Bonisławski, gave our Guests unforgettable memories and encouraged them to come back and promote our city abroad.
06.30 p.m. Charity Dinner – We decorated the tables ourselves (purple napkins had been sewn by our Friend from the Association and floral arrangements had been borrowed from our Sponsor, Tracz – thank you very much! We arranged trees and flowers decorating the ballroom (borrowed from our Sponsor, Tracz – thank you very much!), helped only by our children, who worked as volunteers. Each invitation was accompanied with a note about our stand with charity mugs and plates with autographs of famous people. We also sold books by Mario Vargas Llosa with his autographs and a book by Patrizia Gucci.
“Friends of the World” Association is going to donate
PLN 60,000 (sixty thousand PLN)
to children with cardiac diseases
The Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery Ward of the “Polish Mother’s Memorial” Hospital and Research Institute in Łódź is managed by well-known professors, Jadwiga and Jacek Moll, who treat childred from the whole Poland. This donation will help to finance summer holidays for children after heart surgeries (only those who cannot go to summer camps with healthy children) and to buy life-saving equipment for children.
