The Association Friends of the World is supporting Lodz Hospice Association (7 oxygen concentrators, nasal catheters and oxygen masks).
Oxygen concentrators bring relief to uncurable patients.
09.06.2015 – Lodz Hospice Association received portable breathing apparatuses. They will be used by patients who need oxygentherapy, which means transporting the breathing air with the greater amount of oxygen. The equipment was bought and donated by the Association Friends of the World. The money was collected at the charity ball organised in Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Łódź. Thank you very much for taking part in our charity ball. Only because of you has it been possible to help people in need again. People taking part in our charity balls are heroes for all those who need help, equipment, health. We are extremely grateful.
Dr Aleksandra Ciałkowska-Rysz, Lodz Hospice Association President, Beata Serbiak, the Vice-president , board members and workers of the Lodz Hospice Association were the guests at the donating ceremony. We were also welcoming the Priest Łukasz Szmit, who sprinkled the equipment, the members of the Foundation who is organising palliative care in Kazachstan and Friends of the World.
We would like to thank the media who also were present at the donating ceremony. Special thank you to Agnieszka Dulaj- the Director of the Social Policy Department for being present and to Jolanta Chełmińska, Voivod of Łódź for the support.
